A number of our senior athletes represented
Ireland in the recent British & Irish Masters Cross Country
International at Stormont Castle.
Contesting the M35-49 8k International, Davy Byrne put in another fine
display of endurance running when finishing 22nd overall in a time of
29.10. As the 4th and final scoring member of the Irish team he played a
leading role in helping secure the team gold in the M35 category and
later joined in the triumphant celebrations that greeted this rare team
win.
