Tallaght AC Athletes had a busy weekend with the Athletics Ireland Indoor Games in Nenagh on Sunday and elsewhere, some more of our athletes continued their cross country campaigns. At Corkagh Park in Clondalkin our juveniles contested the Clondalkin AC Cross Country Open, incorporating the 4th race in the Dublin XC League series, and our seniors were in action in the Dublin Masters Cross Country Championships in Santry. IMRA Hellfire Winter Challenge 8th January 2006
Tallaght Athletes blazed their way to the top of the podium on a number of fronts last weekend. On Sunday in the Dublin Mountains a number of our juvenile and senior athletes were on fire when taking top positions in the Irish Mountain Running Associations, Hellfire Winter Challenge at Killakee Woods. National Juvenile even aged Cross Country Championships 11th December 2005.

At the National Juvenile even age Cross Country Championships in Athlone last Sunday, our juvenile athletes again  produced some good performances to take individual, county and regional medals. click here
 
Jingle Bells 5k 4th December 2005
Last Sunday our Tallaght Athletes came home with the 2nd Team Prize after competing in the 15th Annual Jingle Bells 5k. This race attracted over 700 runners.
First home for the club was Niall Coppinger, finishing 1st in the O/40 category. Keith Sherlock 2nd, followed by Club Captain Dessie Shorten finishing 1st in the O/45 category. Bill Murphy had a superb run, with Derek Quinn just behind who is having a great comeback. James Crowley, who was not well, ran the course finishing seventh followed by Viv O’Hanlon.  Roisin O'Hanlon our only junior athlete ran a very strong race. Our First lady home for the club was Aileen Connolly.
 
National AAI Juvenile uneven age Cross Country Championships 27th November 2005.
At the National AAI Juvenile uneven age Cross Country Championships in Sligo on Sunday last, 17 Tallaght athletes competed against the top qualifiers from all regions of the Country. click here

X.C. League Series 13th November 2005
In the third meet of the Dublin Juvenile Cross Country League series at Santry last Sunday, our juveniles secured a number of individual wins and team awards, with many striding on up the league tables in their hunt for league trophies.  click here

Dublin even age Cross Country Championships 6th November 2005
No less than ten Tallaght athletes qualified for the National Finals after some fine performances in the Dublin even age Cross Country Championships in Corkagh Park, Clondalkin, last Sunday.  click here
 
Dublin  Marathon and Minithon 31st October 2005.
Despite the heavy downpour of rain our competitors in the adidas Dublin City Marathon and Minithon shone brightly on the Halloween Bank Holiday Monday. click here
 
Dublin Juvenile Uneven Age Cross Country Championships. 23rd October 2005
Aisling Johnston and Robert Fitzsimons were the toast of Tallaght AC, when both, crossed the line first to claim individual titles, in the Dublin Juvenile Uneven Age Cross Country Championships.  click here
 
The Dublin Juvenile Cross Country League Round 2 16th October 2005.
Griffeen Park, Lucan was the venue for the second round of the Dublin Juvenile Cross Country League last Sunday, where many of our juveniles put in some sound running performances to maintain their position in the league tables.  click here
